I am especially going to enjoy all the comments and suggestions about dishes that others made and I didn't. You and I both made the cauliflower stir-fry and the asparagus pizza. Like you, I LOVED both of these recipes. I just took a huge amount of asparagus and dropped it on the crust dough and let it be. That was almost the most fun part. I like cauliflower and liked this version - never have I had anything like it. This is going to be a terrific cooking group, dojn't you think?Mary Hirschhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14495234299898574943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1985611815592792914.post-20930539112378662172014-05-30T14:23:04.991-07:002014-05-30T14:23:04.991-07:00I'm sorry about the uncooked rice in your filo...I'm sorry about the uncooked rice in your filo pie, but glad I wasn't the only one, and that you still enjoyed the recipe. I admire your patience. I stopped after a lot fewer than 20 layers of filo. Of course, all of your dishes look fabulous. The Quinoa with Zucchinis and Onions looks fabulous - I loved that dish too and, it was my 13-year-old daughters favorite recipe this month! The Asparagus Pizza was also a big hit here - I just loaded a lot of asparagus on that dough. I can see that we share common tastes - I am always the one ordering pizza with veg and without tomato sauce. The Stir-fry Cauliflower has made many an appearance at our house - isn´t it fabulous?! Yes, the Rice and Filo Pie is a beauty - I did make it with cooked (!) rice the second time and it was even better than the version with the uncooked rice - love the crunchiness of the beautiful filo and the wonderful savory filling.
Fabulous post, dear friend!
Thanks again for the kind words, for your participation and your enthusiasm!
